Monish Verma

Monish Verma leads the development initiatives through the InCircle vertical in Finnacle, an independent, interdisciplinary collaborative focused on impact projects. Mr. Verma has over 20 years of interdisciplinary experience and has been involved in setting up InCircle’s Solution Studio on the thematic of Sustainable Mountain Development (Transport, Climate Change). He is also advising “Indian Academy of Paediatrics, IAP - Health Phone” and “IAP - Immunize India” projects on setting up government-industry linkages, evolving a new matrix for public-private collaborations (Vodafone and DSM), designing implementation and raising funds from the private sector to support the projects. Mr. Verma has exposure to various best practices in the international development sector by playing role of an independent adviser or project leader across multiple Indian and international projects. He has been a Sector Specialist - Environment at the European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) where he enabled European and Indian business & research organisations to collaborate on climate change by promoting EU’s cleaner technologies adapted to the Indian conditions. Prior to EBTC, he worked with ICRA Management and Consulting Services (IMaCS), where he successfully kindled a development consulting practice which witnessed an 8-fold revenue growth under his leadership in five years. Mr. Verma holds a Masters in International Environmental Policy and Resource Management from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a Masters in Physics from Boston University.
